Time Out For Me




I struggle to switch off, I am always on the go with many tasks in my to-do list. I attempt to sit down and chill, but quickly get bored and find things to do, or my mind will be thinking of all the things I could be doing, and then I feel like I am wasting time. I go go go, then burn out. It's like a roundabout I struggle to get off. My advice to others is, you must make time for you, but rarely do I take my own advice, until recently.


Our team have set up a sound bath session for neurodiverse individuals at Fitology Studio run by the wonderful Emma Atkinson in Ipswich. Being away from my home and in an environment where my only purpose is to lay down and listen to the beautiful sounds of the crystal sound bowls, actually works for me and the feedback from others has been positive. That 1 hour timeout impacts my wellbeing in a good way for the rest of the day.
